How to read this page

Three questions, the words, and how the numbers are made — written once; every caveat on the page links here.
What this page answers
Is it running?
01 — the pulse. Blocks are still being mined (proof of work), and the finality layer (proof of stake) is keeping up with them. Two chips, two numbers; green means both engines are turning.
Is it safe?
02 — the verdict. Finality needs ⅔ of all bonded stake to sign. So whoever holds more than ⅓ — one operator, or a few together — could stop it. The verdict names them and says what it would take to change that.
Where should stake go?
03 — one suggestion, drawn from the finalizers that are reliable and outside that group, and the full table below it. Rewards do not depend on which finalizer you pick, so spreading stake costs you nothing.

An operator that signs blocks into finality.
Bond
Stake you lock to a finalizer, from your own wallet — this page only observes. It stays yours and can be unbonded.

Finality
The point a block can no longer be undone. It needs ⅔ of bonded stake to sign.
The ⅓ line
Hold more than a third — alone or together — and you can withhold, which makes ⅔ unreachable.
Coefficient
How many operators it takes to reach that third. Higher is safer.
Height
One finality decision. Standings use a rolling 7-day window.
How the numbers are made
Three standings
The table shows one of three words per finalizer. RELIABLE — its record clears the published bar (grade B− or better). UNEVEN — observed, but below the bar: look closer, not "avoid". NOT SEEN — nothing from it reached this node, so it is not graded at all. The letter grade and score sit one click away, in the standing's popover.
Two signals
Under every standing sit two measurements. Certificates — the signatures that actually finalized each decision, read from the chain; weight 0.6. Votes seen — what reached this node in the short voting window of each height; honest but partial, so weight 0.4. In the table the top strip is certificates, the bottom is votes; when they disagree, that is the thing worth a look.
The suggestion
Picked at random on every load from the reliable finalizers outside the group past the ⅓ line. Nobody pays for placement.
Attempts
Most decisions here need a second attempt (a "round") before enough signatures land — with this few finalizers that is the normal path, not a fault. We watch the trend, not the level.
Stalls
A stall is no decision at all for several times the normal interval. Grades drift upward during one (nothing is seen), so the two are read together.
Coverage
How much of the window this node was actually watching. It reads the chain itself, from the moment it started, forward only — the scanned block range appears once the scan starts. Gaps are never counted as stalls, and the scanner sees new bonds but not exits, so 24h flow is inflow, never net.
Proposals
Each round has a chosen proposer. We track who delivered their slot, but it is not part of any standing yet — the sample is still young.
Privacy
Individual bonds are never listed. A wallet sees its own positions and nobody else's; publishing this node's view would expose one delegator while the rest stayed private.
